The silk and satin honeymoon safari package is a luxury premier four-night safari package filled with extraordinary adventure, style and service. The package is operated by Bearded Heron Safaris in conjunction with Lukimbi Lodge in the Southern Kruger.

Day 1
The safari itinerary begins in Nelspruit, South Africa where your own private chauffeur in a Lincoln stretch limousine meets you and your new partner at the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.

The vehicle has already been prepared to include your favourite songs, beverages and romantic ambience. You are driven through the ancient majesty of a 3 billion year old quartzite and granite mountain range, and through the sugar cane fields of Mpumalanga (the place where the sun rises) to the small town of Malelane - a southern entry point into the world-famous Kruger.

Just an hour after you have landed, you are transferred to a private, luxury game open game viewing vehicle and personally guided through the African bush to your lodge - a five-star honeymoon suite and an adventure like no other.

You may wish to spend the remainder of your day exploring the African bush, your own private splash pool or each other, whatever you choose - our staff are always at hand to make your every wish come true. Dinner is glorious, a true reflection of South African hospitality and style, and is either presented in the boma (outdoors) in the dining area or specially prepared in your suite under candlelight.

Day 2 to 4
This itinerary is about your adventure - join us on an early morning game drive, a specially trained field guide always at hand to interpret and explain the myriad of life in the bush, to guide you through your big 5 sightings and to show you the magic of a true African safari.

Or lie in and soak up the magic of a rising sun of your private views of the bushveld.

Evening and night drives, all meals and adventure activities like walking with armed rangers, and tracking down the life around all combine to make this a fantastic safari experience. A once-in-a-lifetime memory of a perfect honeymoon.

Departure day
After breakfast you are game driven out of the Kruger to your limousine and personally chauffer driven back to the airport. A fantastic memory, and a beautiful journey to mark the beginning of your own journey together.
